Jiffy app
Jiffy stores every note as a plain-text .txt file on your Mac at ~/Library/Application Support/Jiffy/notes/. The app does not require an account, subscription, or sync service. The files are local, readable, and available to the tools you already use.
Note bodies remain plain text. When you use Jiffy’s formatting controls, the app keeps that formatting in note metadata so the underlying body stays plain text.
Jiffy website
This website does not use analytics or cookies. It has no sign-in and no form that collects note content. The download link points to the packaged Jiffy app.
Your browser may keep a local theme preference when you switch the site between light and dark mode. That preference stays in your browser and is not sent to Jiffy.
